A post not entirely about Tyler.

I guess I'm in a class with him next semester, it is one that I was already enrolled in with my drummer-friend, it was to be our fun easy 2 hour class. A psychology class called "Drugs and Behaviour." I found out just a bit ago that he will apparently be in it too, and I'm excited despite myself. I worry that he will think that I enrolled in it after him because he was in it, which is not true. If only I had mentioned it that time months ago when I ran into him and he asked what classes I would be in, but all I mentioned were my science classes and he said we wouldn't have any classes together. Of course, this class now conflicts with my necessary schedule, causing one of my classes to overlap another by 15 minutes. I don't want to drop it though. And if I did I would only be in 3 classes, miserable ones that will be hard and not fun. That's not exactly true, though, I'm totally looking forward to anatomy and also to organismic biology.
Whatever, man. Fuck this worrying. I'm enrolled in the class and I want to take it and it doesn't matter to me that he is in it or that I'm taking it with a mutual friend so he will almost undoubtedly sit with us.

In other news, I've got this summer job that just pays assloads of money. It kind of sucks, but two of my co-workers are cool so it's alright. This past week, not counting taxes, I made over $1000 in 40 hours. That's THREE zeros, One THOUSAND dollars in a single week! It's fun too because about half the time is spent just riding or driving in the car, going to these remote locations throughout Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota. And the people are all really nice, they're all like small-town people who work outside a lot and don't know how to work their computers and offer us lots of pop and sometimes beer. It's good times. I'll have to stop the job on July 11th, though, because that is when my summer class for Physics 2 starts, and I've got to take it and do well. I've also got to take the GRE, I should sign up for that...

I'm going to Africa next summer! I'm so excited; my mom went when I was in about 6th grade and I wanted to go so bad, and now I get to!

And if I don't get into vet school when I apply this fall, I'll still be on schedule so I guess next year I'll just travel abroad and probably go to Italy, or maybe somewhere I haven't already been. Do they have student exchange programs in Russia? Or the Netherlands? That would be sweet.
